Activating Your Free Hosting

Every free hosting account works the same whether your domain is with us or elsewhere — here's how to activate it.

Traxio doesn't sell domains, so activating your free hosting account is a two-part process: creating the account, then pointing your existing domain at it.

  1. Sign up for the free plan — no credit card required.
  2. Check your inbox for a welcome email confirming your hosting account and DirectAdmin login details, usually sent within a few minutes.
  3. Log in to DirectAdmin using the link and credentials in that email.
  4. Update your domain's nameservers or DNS records at your registrar to point at Traxio — see Point Your Domain to Traxio for the exact steps.
  5. Once DNS has propagated, start uploading files or installing an application straight away.
